I have come across so many people who stay in hostels and PG's.The first thing that would come to their minds when they think about their home town is "Home Food".

What makes Home Food significant than Junk food???
Home food ensures that healthy,nutritious food is eaten everyday.Fresh food is richer in nutrients,anti-o
xidants,vitamins and micro-nutrients when compared to preserved and packaged food sold commercially.Fresh home cooked food is also bio-friendly.For instance,the fresh green chutneys ensure nutrients,anti-oxidants,vitamins and many other micro-nutrients.Chutneys not made at home could be a source of infection when the raw ingredients are not adequately cleaned or washed.Many of the chutneys have preservatives which are very harmful as they contain extra salt and oxidants which are carcinogenic.

Another factor which distinguishes "junk food" from Home food is the amount of effort the lady of the house expends on preparing that food.The notion that
the nutritional value of food is directly proportional to the amount of effort,the house wife spends on preparing it is widely accepted.Home Food is non-adulterated.Even a plain rice and curry is tasty and self satisfying..Though people like to go and eat in hotels,the food made at home with the same ingredients has a splendid taste.Hotel food is made with the intention to make mere profit.They add things like Ajinomoto which is supposed to enhance the flavour in many cuisines considering that Ajinomoto is harmful to health.

People are forced
to have junk food because they have no time to prepare food at home,.
In Hotels,they re-heat oil so many times by making it toxic.
The researchers at the University of Minnesota reported that re-heating edible oil is harmful to health.
The quality and satisfaction which we get from home food cannot be substituted by any other food which we get from Hotels and food outlets..
